San Diego Wedding Photography – Kelly + Ray pt.1

10.18.10

Here is the first part of Kelly and Ray’s wedding at the beautiful Rosecroft Estate.  I did talk about the estate a bit when I teased this wedding and I’ll still talk about Dr. Seuss in a later post.  But for now I just want to get to some of the photos!  Enjoy!

And it’s not the perspective, Ray is one tall drink of water.

I had a love affair with this room, which was done up in a safari and tiki motif, replete with prints from the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland.

The gentlemen being casual before walking down the aisle.

Check out all the wind chimes in the background.  When there is a breeze this is an amazingly melodious spot.

~Stay tuned folks, there’s more where that came from~

My fiance and I have been searching for a site as The Historic Rosecroft Estate, can you PLEASE tell me how to contact the home or whom to speak with? I’d absolutely love to have my wedding here! <3

I don’t really know how you could get a hold of the current owners of the Estate. I believe their names are Scott and Mary Clifton. I never met them. The bride and groom are friends of the owners. From my understanding, the current owners very rarely allow weddings, but do host charity events on premises. I wish I could be more helpful, because I would love the possibility to photograph another wedding here. Best of luck!
